No worries. @tac45 has your back.
Just send $5 and postage both ways . . .
Been there.... HAH!
Most of the guns I acquire for my personal use,
I give to my wife!
Then she pretends to like me for a few days,
and I get to use them anytime I want.
When my wife notices a new gun, she asks how long I’ve had it and what it cost. I give her the same BS she gives me when I notice new clothes, shoes and purses - “Oh, I’ve had this for years. It didn’t cost much as I bought it on sale”.
My Wife has the standard question, "what do you need that for?" To which I have a standard reply "have you seen any zombies lurking around the house trying to eat the dogs and cause general mayhem? No? Your welcome" and I can talk all the junk I want because she doesn't read this forum.
She once asked me how many guns did I really need and I said ALL of them so she stopped asking and I’m not telling
Buying Guns & Ammo makes my previous hobbies (36ft sport Cruiser & Twin Turbo Cars) look like a nickle/dime venture. She's not a car person or a gun person. She has 4 closets (2 large walk-in) upstairs & 5 large portable covered closet/racks downstairs with tags still on most of the clothes. Don't get me started on the shoes & purses LOL
I guess I'm lucky for the most part, not that she doesn't rag on my butt for other things. It all works out in the long run.
I do the same thing! I think she's catching on...
The Sig P365 is her newest.
Just got it today, although I've worked out with
one belonging to a buddy.
I'm impressed by the little guy.
Pretty expensive for a plastic sub-compact.
Now to get her some custom Kydex for it.
I've shot my neighbor's P365 - no issues. Like magic how they fit 10 rounds in that little mag.
The last pistol I purchased for my wife was a 66 3". Later she liked the little 63 2" I picked up at an estate sale. She likes revolvers. But, the last gun she stole from me was a CZ Cajunized P-01. I show her a gun, and if she likes it she says "thanks". DOH! That one was mine, I think to myself.
M carried a 442 on her ankle for years.
She was 'adequately' proficient with it but much better
with her Kahr or her Glocks.
I'd betcha she will like the 365.
My wife’s father, my father in law used to own a gun store in Illinois. After they sold it he gave me some guns and a bunch of reloading equipment. So when I acquire a new gat I just say it’s to use up some of that reloading supplies I still have left from your dad.
I don't ask permission , or give them to her . I buy what I want , when I want . She does the same . We both worked hard .
Once they get it into the safe....
It isn't new.....
\So that means ... I've always had it !!!
All of mine are back 1911’s of different calibers - they all look the same.
