80's throwback, a double action conversion to a Colt .45. I rework everything inside and out. It's actually very nice to shoot. I was a sceptic at first. Soon to be on the market.

That is very old school. Colt offered a gov't model da for sale perhaps 5 or 6 years ago? Came close to pulling the trigger but couldn't decide, then gone.
As usual, the vision and workmanship on this is amazing. Thanks for showing.

Was this original Colt manufacturing gun? I know Clint Smith has one but not sure if converted base gun or all original. Think his has an added cover plate on the right side.

That's a Seecamp Double Action, as far as I know the only factory guns that came with it were the ODI Viking and Viking Combat.

A good friend of mine has a Series 70 MKIV Seecamp conversion just sitting in a safe. Never been fired. Any idea what it's worth? It is the nickel/satin finish.
