I see it all the time, 45 ACP referred to as "God's caliber".
If God were to pack a pistol, it would be the biggest, baddest animal on the planet. I'm guessing it would be a Pfeifer-Zeliska revolver firing the .600 Nitro Express round. Firing a 900 grain bullet at 2,005 ft/sec produces 8,400 ft-lbs of energy. By comparison, the .45 ACP +P cartridge is doing good to produce 600 ft-lbs.
Why would God shoot something so puny???
