I have a new to me Razorback that shot 3"high at 15 yards. I measured the front DT and called Dawson for a new FO front sight. SN is 00032 and the DT measures .342ish which is Springfield. The old sight is pinned and slipped right out without tools and the new sight also slips right in without tools and is not pinned. The DT base on the sights is old .341, new .338. Should I send it back, or peen the slide and Loctite it in? Thanks. Ken in Oregon.

Don't peen the slide. That should not be necessary.

I suspected that would be the answer. I'm sending it back. Thanks
