Up for sale is my Dan Wesson Valor blued Government 9mm that has the following work completed:
- Hard Chrome finish from Accurate Plating & Weaponry. Brushed flats and matte rounds. The pistol is unfired since returning from APW and re-assembly.
- Kart 38 Super barrel, bushing, and extractor fitted and installed by Greg Derr with Derr Precision.
This pistol turned out even better than anticipated, but I have an order in with Alchemy for something similar and this set-up needs to find another home.
Everything you see in the pictures is included: pistol with 38 Super barrel, factory 9mm barrel and bushing, factory thin VZ grips, two DW mags (one 9mm the other 38 Super), and an extra set of grip screws that were hard chromed. Prior to sending to APW I performed some minor metal work - lightly beveled the edges of the Kart bushing, reduced the projection of the slide stop pin, and slightly softened the sharp edges of the slide stop and thumb safety. Both barrels and bushing sets are hard chromed as well as all typical parts less the springs, trigger, and hammer/strut/sear/disco. I’d be glad to provide additional pictures upon request.
The factory thin bushings are installed so the grip screws sit deep into the grip screw holes. Also, the pistol is a blem version.
