1911 fans I am very new to this site and to 1911’s. I apologize for talking about Gun Broker but I found this one that looks pretty inexpensive. The guy paid $2495 and it has a price of $1225. It has an ambi safety but it looks brand new. However I am puzzled at the low price. I know that the bidding may ramp up tomorrow but was wondering if a more experienced eye can see something that I can’t. Also if it’s legit please don’t buy it.

That's a great price if it is in great shape. Never believe suggested retail! The market is very soft right now, great time to buy!

Brand new EVO all day long for around 2k on gun broker some less than that.

That price, with nearly a day to go means nothing. It'll get into the high-teens easily.

I was watching another auction and in the last 2 hrs the price went up $750. The funny thing was the buyer ended up paying more than he could have bought it with a buy it now on another listing.
