So I've been thinking of picking up an NIB EB EVO LW, 9mm.
Is it worth another $1000+ to get the EB Kobra Carry LW in 9mm?
I've got a couple of Wilson's, but new to Ed Brown and just wondering.
Thanks, Dan

I’ve got an EVO non lightweight and a Kobra Carry LW in .45

Both excellent pistols.

I’m more of a traditional 1911 fan and could do without the external extractor and the multi cuts on the slide, and the funky cocking serrations...

BUT! The EVO is one heck of s good gun for the money.

No failures on mine. Shoots great.

I carry it quite a bit do all my comments in the third paragraph must not matter much.

I do love a Kobra Carry though.

If you have can go the extra $$$ , I’d get the Kobra.

My dos centavos

That's a damn good question, I've never been able to handle the EVO series but people really like them.

I do however have a KC and it's awesome ;)

I did the only thing a true addict could do. Bought the EVO LW and put the Kobra Carry on Lay-a-way.
Well done, it's only money, can't take it with you ;)

Congrats on the purchases in true Addict fashion.

I have the EVO KC9 and it shoots great..... but I have to say my early steel Kobra Carry .45 just feels like it belongs in the hand.
