Hello all, got a question regarding the EMP Champion. I know that SA lists the EMP Champion's height as 5.5 inches, which is the same as any other Government/Commander frame. However, I can't help but think that the gun's grip area is actually longer than a Government/Commander frame, maybe it's because of the reduced circumference grip making it look taller? Can anyone confirm that the grip length on both are actually the same?

I'd really like to know, does anyone have a photo of the EMP 4 back to back with a Government or Commander 1911, or perhaps some other photo comparing the heights of the two so I can see? I ask because there are no dealers in my area that have one, so I can't go see for myself in person.

They are the same. Big clue is magazine capacity on the 3" vs 4"
