My friend allowed me to shoot his 10mm Dan Wesson Bruin yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. I own a Dan Wesson Specialist myself, in .45 ACP, and while the 10mm does have a tad more recoil than my .45, the difference is only miniscule (to me, that is).
I was pretty impressed by the Bruin overall - it fit in my hands perfectly and was quite accurate too. So, I'm thinking about purchasing one for myself; would love to carry it in my chest holster when I go camping in the woods. But, a couple of extra rounds in the magazine would make me feel a lot safer.
Wilson Combat & a few others do make extended 10 round 1911 magazines, but they're all for .45 ACP. Are there any available for 10mm?
I did see a few videos on YouTube of people loading 10mm rounds in their .45 ACP extended magazines & then using them, but I've also seen comments from people, saying that it didn't work for them.
