Dos anyone have the dimensions of the Para/Clark ramp and the Wilson/Nowlin?

I have a pistol and don’t know which it has. I’d love to have the dimensions so I can get it figured out.

    Thanks in advance.

The Clark/Para has a radius behind the lower lugs/feet. The W/N is flat with less material behind the lower lugs.

A frame milled for one, will not fit the other without mods.

Just a FYI, but I prefer the C/P style as there is more 'meat' behind the lower lugs and just preferred that for my competition pistols that would shoot 100k plus rounds in their lifetime. For more casual usage, either will work fine. :)

If you post a picture of just the barrel looking into the chamber I can tell you by sight. The Wilson Nowlin barrels have a flat frame bridge impact surface, the Para/Clark has a rounded impact surface. Also, what brand is your pistol?

Edited- Sorry, wrmiller beat me to it before my web page updated to show his response! :)

There may be more info on the Nowlin web site, but you may have to dig or ask about dimensions.

    Thanks guys.

    It’s a Kimber.

I have 2 other projects to finish up including building my match rifle. Once those are done, I’ll be looking for another project.

It looks just like the W/N in the pic I posted above. ;)

Bully, maybe if you forego this build you could start saving for movers. I left NJ 13 years ago and never, ever look back - now in SC a gun friendly state. LOL

    I wasn't sure if you post was a statement or a question, but yea, it's a W/N style. :)

Hey Bully, you said that you're into rifle building? Got any experience with LR-308s or M1As? I may PM you with some questions if you do.

I build my own bolt guns. Currently all off 700 actions.
I'm not into semi-auto rifles at all unfortunately. Sorry.

That's cool. And nice looking rifle! :)

Someday when I can afford it I'll have you build a heavy barreled 300 Win Mag for me.
