I finally was able to track down one of my Grail guns for an unbelievable trade. I still need to replace the grips and get it optic cut. Hopefully I can stop to enjoy it before chasing the next thing.

It’s a CZ SP-01 Bull Shadow SAO.
I was burnt out from my career in insurance and started working at a Range/Shop. Meeting many customers allowed my the opportunity to shoot anything I dreamed off. I was drawn to metal framed CZs and 2011.
I love 2011s for the triggers, but nothing can match the feel in hand of a CZ with palm swell grips. Regarding feel, I prefer the feel of the standard Sp-01 over the Shadow 2 frame. The Bull Shadow SAO specifically, allows me to have the straight trigger with the CZ ergos I love.
I was browsing another site and noticed the listing for trade and the person was looking for a 2011 for competition. I had both the 4.25” & 5” inch Prodigies, so I figured I would throw a trade out there expecting it to be declined. The CZ cost me a 5” Prodigy w/ 3 mags and Swampfox Justice II optic.
My vision with the gun is to have it optic cut and refinished. I’m leaning towards Hard Chrome, but understand it’s getting harder to find a company that still does it. It will get palm swell grips for LOK. I may send to MK3 firearms for their single stage trigger job.
I’ve put about 300 rounds through it and have been loving as much as my XC.
