For a year or so I've be kicking around interest in purchasing a stainless .45 Vbob. The ideal of DW discontinuing Valor has been weighing on me so I pulled the trigger, ordered a new one and picked it up this afternoon at the LGS. Haven't shot it yet but really impressed with fit and finish, very solid lock up, love the sharp checkering. In past months I've tried to purchase used ones from individuals but their prices were higher than I paid for this one new. Guess I understand now, folks are so proud of them it's hard to let them go. Anyway looking forward to some range time. Now I'm thinking I need one in 9mm also, maybe order before the supply dries up. Is there no end, no cure?

Yep... you got to have a VBob
    Congrats. I think!
My 9mm VBob was my first Damn Wesson:bang:
Big mistake! Damn things multiply in the safe after you you feed them.

Cost me a bundle to feed that addiction, and I still have 2 in the wind.

Congrats on a great purchase! Mine (.45 acp) is my carry gun and I love it so much I just ordered a second one (just in case) because of DW's decision to discontinue the Valor line.

My V-Bob DT is the only DW I bought used, but it was LNIB and is a tack driver. I always look forward to shooting it.

    Nice addition to your collection.

I believe Grabagun still has some stainless V Bobs in stock for a good price. If I was into commander guns, I would have grabbed one... no pun intended

Okay, as of this moment they have 2 left in stock for about 1200.

I was looking at the V-Bob on Grab-A-Gun. That $1166 price is great but when I added it to the cart it jumped up $22. Then $68 in tax. WTF
Purchased a 9mm stainless from another vendor to replace my 45.

Excuse the rambling Razor. Congrats your gonna love it.

Yeah, I've watched their site for a few days and their prices kind of jump around every day, sometimes even during the day. I ordered this one last week and it was $1198 total shipped. I would guess you live in a state that they have a business location is why they added tax.
