So this is the first time since I’ve had this Ed Brown Kobra Carry to take it apart and also the first time I’ve had to mess with a bushing and this one had no box or anything with it. It’s about to get it’s new eye balls installed. I’ll follow up with pictures it was also nasty so going to clean it while it’s apart.
Haha I haven’t had time to do anything with all the panic and shuffling kids around. The wife’s at work or I probably wouldn’t be doing this right now. She doesn’t love guns the way I do.
The rear sight screw usually has a dab of locktite on the threads to keep it from backing out. If removal is beyond your skill set, take it to a Smith or ship the slide (only) to Ed Brown or Novak for replacement. Best of luck!
