Well I know LimbKiller already has 2, but I won't kill quite as many as him so I thought I'd share my first kill story. I went out this morning before sun rise, I got comfortable and waited. The first deer I saw was one jumping high across the field near by away from me, she has 3 with her right behind her. I knew they were scared of something, and I feared my dog or another one on our property came out there to find me. So I waited because I could here whatever it was trotting towards me. Then I saw it was a coyote, a big one too I haven't seen one that size before. Well I would've killed it (small dogs on our property), but it was between me and there direction of my house and it spotted me before I could get my 1911 out. So I just sat and was going to give it a for more minutes before I went back in, and up trots a doe at an awkward angle, so I waited for a better angle I never got it, bit I did have a shot at her back. So i took it, and I hit my mark, I snapped her back, she dropped and was losing blood quick. When I got to her she still was barely alive, so I put a few rounds of .45acp in her head to put her out of her misery. It was the least clean shot I have taken so far, but I am still happy with it. Thanks for reading guys, good luck to you all and be safe out there.

Congrats GR!!! Looks like a good time was had for sure. Still plenty left out there for more good times.:thumb: The rut will be kicking off here in a couple of weeks and the bucks will go bonkers. Still haven't seen a good one yet in range. Son got this one last month. It's what I'm looking for.

    Nice rack.

I think that's the first time I've ever said that and wasn't subsequently slapped. :der:

Love the photo of the dog. I approve of his expression. I'm imagining the voice of the Kool-Aid cartoon. "Oooooh, yeah."

I use the "new posts" button that links everything new. I pay little attention most of the time what sub forum the threads are in.
