Flying out of Bangor, taking a .38 snubby with me. No trouble checking my bag or declaring my firearm except they raised the price for a checked bag from $25 to $30 since I flew to KS last June making the cost of taking a gun is now $60 round trip, since it has to go in checked luggage. I suppose they have to make money somewhere since ticket prices are down, it was only $200 for my round trip ticket. But, I dont have a problem paying the extra, having the means to protect myself if I need to is priceless.

I don’t think I’d venture to Atlanta without an equalizer!

The flights were uneventful and my luggage arrived safely, as usual. Got loaded up, caught my ride, and headed for my destination. Looking forward to a few uneventful days of visiting before heading back to Maine. Traveling with a gun is really no big deal, and hmuch easier than all the antigun rhetoric you hear in the news would lead you to believe.

Can you mail yourself a handgun?

You can ship one to yourself using UPS or FedEx but you can't mail one unless you have an FFL.
