Could I just get a P90 barrel with the tax stamp and drop it in or does it need a gunsmith?

You would want to do the form 1 first. I think it might need to be engraved, but I've never done a form 1 so a more knowledgeable member can chime in with the correct info.

If I can find a picture of mine I'll post it.

Do Form 1. Get approval first then cut barrel. You can engrave the barrel with the proper information needed to be compliant. Or you can engrave the receiver.
