Although I personally don't like custom engraving for any of my firearms, by just remove those color fill-in in those special edition HD 1911 will make it looks 100x better.

I rode Harleys starting at 19, and stopped at 69, and have shot 1911s just as long. I probably even carried a 1911 on a Harley several times. However, I wouldn’t be caught with a 1911 that looks like this under any circumstances. What a waste of good firearms. Even obsessions have limits.
