Think these will make good base gun for a build
Guy sounds like a real dumb ass! Never pulled the slide back or the mag out.
Would not modify them
Needs a couple zip ties to prove they havent been racked.
I think it would be hard for me not to rack the slide and pull the trigger
Someone should ask him to prove that the slide hasn't been racked
He should hard chrome one and include a larger holster.
Toward what end?
Did he wear new white cotton gloves when he removed them from the boxes?
Leave it unmolested. Museum Quality, hadn’t heard that one in a while, nice old pistol.
I call BS...
This gun has NEVER been fired. The slide has NEVER been pulled back. The gun has NEVER been taken apart.
Pic #5. Colt seems to have a small idiot scratch. Kind of squashes that whole never taken apart thing.
He may be legitimately correct from his period of ownership, but given that he’s not the original owner, there’s a possibility (likelihood) that SOMEONE ELSE operated the slide and/or disassembled it. They’re beautiful guns, but numerous markings in the photos suggest they’ve been handled without white cotten gloves at some point...
I think this is the same guy who called about my IRS taxes and wanted to help me avoid going to jail. I sure hope he received my iTunes gift cards.
