I’m thinking of trying my hand at putting together a dedicated frame for my Nelson Conversion.

I’m not planning on building more guns so I don’t want to invest too much in specialized tooling To complete it.

I noticed on the Caspian website they have Stainless Foster frame kits for sale that include a plunger tube already staked a trigger, Beavertail, mainspring housing, ejector, thumb safety, grip screw bushings and all of the pins for $245.

Has anyone purchased one of these, if so how was the quality and how much extra fitting was required?

My biggest concern is the fit of the grip safety and how it fits up to the frame.
