Fun with . 308!

    I got my two new .308s out today. A custom built .308 AR and GalC l Ace. Both extremely soft shooters. The AR is awesome. The Brake really keeps it flat and it does not feel much different than 5.56 and the Galil feels like a tame 7.62 x 39.

    Fun!!!

    I love .308 / 7.62s! I own a SCAR 17S in that caliber and its a great laser beam shooter!

    Nice looking "stick" you got!

    There is something very satisfying about a nice big .308 cartridge. Geezo Pete it is crazy loud .I just took my ear ugs out and only used my active ear pro (Peltor Comtac). Wow! Double plug for me.

    Nice rifles. I enjoy 7.62 myself, and won't ever own another 5.56 rifle. If I had the funds I would have snapped up that SCAR 20s that showed up FS here yesterday.

    Hopefully next week I get to go shoot my new M1A and my LR-308 heavy barrel I built. Weather permitting of course.
