My 45 CCO has been a very accurate and dependable piece that I really enjoy shooting. Runs any ammo I have tried, and did so until round number 2860 - 2880. Thats when the barrel foot weld broke. Seems the bottom of the foot was striking the frame first and that leverage finally took its toll.
I had read about Fusion warranty service being slow and I didn't want to leave it with them for an extended period so a phon

Call to them and they sent me a new barrel in exchange for the broke one. Well that new barrel required more fitting than I was good for. After I screwed it up, ruined it, I sent the whole thing in. I told them what I wanted and was willing to pay for the barrel I screwed up. About 6 weeks and the CCO was headed back to me. No charge. The smith who replaced the barrel also tightened up the slide/frame fit, also installed a new tight fitting bushing. The slide wasn't loose by any means but had worn in a little. It now runs any ammo I have tried and is maybe more accurate than before.
Of course the original barrel should not have failed but the customer service displayed, standing behind thier product is outstanding. I will be purchasing a 5" Reaction from them soon.

Well, I don't know how common it is to have a problem like this. First one I have heard of. They did take care of it quicker than I expected and they did not charge anything for the barrel I messed up. And I really like the CCO, I shoot it well. It just fits me. Yes, it is a Fusion.

My feeling is that as long as it is reliable and does what you need it to, the name on the side is not that important.
