new to the forum not new to fire arms. Looking at a fusion riptide C. I have small hands and change to slim grips and short pad trigger first thing. They will do it for only $50 more. But I like the DW VBOB about $1500. Any thoughts. Ripetide C $995+50=$1045

Handled the riptide c a couple of weeks back and if I had the $$$ it would be in my house now. Really sweet trigger and they will swap out the fiber optic to the color of your liking; not that changing a FO tube is a big deal.

I like those guns, if some customization is important there's not much that can compete with them at their price point

No experience with the Riptide but my 9mm Fusion Government GI is well finished and quite accurate.

I met Bob Serva and his team at a Black Friday event held at his NC dealer about 30 minutes from me.

I own a Freedom series Reaction I modded slightly for IDPA. It's a great shooter, but my advice is have them option it like you want rather than trying to do it yourself.

I changed sights, thumb safety, grips, and added a magwell, and all required more than the usual amount of persuading to get them fitted besides the grip panels.

I haven’t held one yet so don’t know if need to change anything else. But just to change what I need for my little hands is pretty reasonable.
    Thanks for the advice

Welcome from CT. IMO the DW is the better gun.

The guys at Fusion do a great job on their pistols. I have a Fusion Pro-Series gov't railed model that I bought slightly used from a forum member here. The gun is tight and accurate. No issues with it yet and I've run Chip McCormick, Tripp, and Wilson 10-round mag's and various 230gr & 185gr ammo through it without a hitch (except a couple wilson mag's whose feedlips were old and out of spec...LOL).
