I use a lot of ebonies but black and white is my favorite ... especially in combination with with Gabon!

Christmas morning grip swap! Santa brought some Woodcaliber Bolivian Rosewood grips, so I switched my ebony edc grips to the rock. I think the full size rail gun looks good in black!

 

Got this little tool to keep me from scratching and slipping off the screws. I want my scratches to be on duty, not on my bench.

 

I got the email today.

I posted a thread alittle while back about one of my favorite woods, Desert Ironwood. The thread had a fair amount of engagement and feedback so I figured I would create another thread for a wood type that is quickly growing on me, Gaboon Ebony. Uhhhhh, these are nice. I am not into wood, but damn! I hope not to ding them up. Going on 1201 when I get time.

 

I dont have any fancy background, so I just used my junky work table.

I like my grips to have the cut for the mainspring pin. I did not see an option for that when I ordered.

Really liking the look of the blacked out ring hammer on the gov.

One man's opinion, but the cutout looks off with a magwell.

 

I think they look great. I never understood the MSH pin cut on anything but a military weapon. I wouldn't want to remove the MSH while it was still wearing my fancy grips.

A little Double Diamond Ebony Gaboon love for @Highfiguregrips. Jon made these for a Yost with a hand made magwell and a Reid with a Chen Gen 1 magwell.

 

Woodcaliber ebony on top of a few different woods for your viewing pleasure. From the inside out: purpleheart, maple, redheart, walnut, cherry, bocote.
