Bought this via Dave at DRC Firearms. It's in transit now and should be here in a couple of days. Dave was kind enough to send a couple of pics, so I figured I'd share. :thumb:

Man, that looks great. I love how he does the thumb and grip safety contours. They're good shooters, too.

    Is it your first Guncrafter?

I realized I forgot to ask: how many lines per inch for the checkering on the mainspring housing?

    Andy,

Yes this is my first GI. If I'm half as pleased with this build as others on this forum have been with theirs, I'll be in good shape. There are a bunch of gun savy guys on this forum and I put a lot of stock in what they have to say. They speak highly of Dave and the way he takes care of his customers and they were right on the mark with that. Besides, If I dont like it I think I can have a flat trigger installed and sell it to Cerebrus

Good stuff. :thumb: I think you'll love it.

My "No Name" is a 5" gun, and I'm very pleased with it. It's a heck of a gun.

Yes, Dave is the best. I'll never buy another custom 1911 without going through Dave. He does like wood, LOL!!! Commander 3.jpg GICommanderBT 001.jpg
