After weeks of debating, thinking, and rethinking, and asking for many opinions, I ordered my Guncrafter Industries No Name with a few personal changes to it. I obviously cannot comment on the pistol for another few months, but their customer service was exceptional. The representative was friendly, helpful, and insightful into their options. I look forward to it arriving and getting to have some real fun. Pictures, range reports, and other goodies to follow in a couple months!

Thanks to everyone who helped me make an educated decision. The discussions happened on another forum board but due to excessive amounts of bashing and bickering, I am over here for 1911 discussions. I know the guys who really helped me are over here on this forum too since they are the ones that pointed me over here.

I love the No Name. Other than ordering it with the GI Alumagrips, mine is bone stock.

Its one of the best $2500 1911s on the market.

I'll add that the only 1911 at $2500 that I feel can compete with the NN on overall tightness and quality is the Les Baer SRP.

RRA was awesome, but they stopped building.

The options I chose were to get a blacked out trigger, and I had them put a 10-8 Performance plain black rear sight, with a .156" opening, on it. I really like the wide rear notch with a tritium up front. And I wanted a blacked out gun.

I often wondered why there was so much love and constant gushing about the NN. Then I shot one. 'Nuff said. Congrats on a great choice. The NN is a fantastic gun.

I could have saved you the wait. I have one in stock that we could have changed out the trigger and rear sight on and had it to you next week. You will love the NN. It is a fantastic pistol.
