That's what I call hunting the old fashioned way. So tell us the story that goes with the picture.

Pretty straight forward. I spotted him from my tree saddle, he was abut 100 yards away and bedding down (around 4pm. I climbed down and circled down wind from him, stalked up to where i last saw him but he had moved. So i circled a little further and he crossed in from of me at 18 yards-ish. When he extended his front leg to step forward i let it fly. I got a complete pass through but for such a heavy shaft (hard maple 600 grains) i did not get that satisfying "thwack". I think i prefer my river cane shafys over these. The obsidian point worked perfectly. The tip did break off and lodged in his heart. He still ran nearly 400 yards with a hole in his heart (kind of a large half circle run). He the jumped into the danged river (its been super cold lately). I waded in up to my chest but retrieved him. The hard part was getting him up onto the bank. But, it was totally worth it.
