So I busted my proverbial IWB cherry today and I believe I have been missing out. I’ve had it on for about 3 maybe 4 hours and I can’t even tell it’s there.

I’m a bigger guy so I’ve been a OWB guy and afraid to try the IWBs. I’m so glad that I bought my first one from an addict and couldn’t have been more pleased with how nice it is.

Today I’m wearing a TT GUNLEATHER IWB with a little shark trim sorry @tac45. Inside it’s got a NHC Heinie PDP stainless chambered in gods caliber 45 acp! The shoes are none other than @Highfiguregrips hand checkered desert ironwood!

I have been IWB kydex at 330 for a
few years. Opens up a whole new world of summer time waistline concealability. I can carry comfortably under loose t shirts and with the kydex smoothly re holster without taking the rig off my belt.

All I had to do was get in the habit of buying loose fit pants and jeans.

If'n you call what I see in that picture a 'bigger' guy, you need to adjust yer way of thinkin! From the looks of it, I could make two of ya, and the kind folks at the shoot said I weren't fat.

Lol I was 380 in January and I’ve lost 85 pounds. I’m still not where I want to be weight wise but I’ll get there once the holidays are over.

It’s at about 3:30 ish if I had to guess. It’s so much more comfortable. I hate I’ve waited so long.

I could not believe how long I needlessly dealt with summer time concealment problems before giving this a shot and seeing how well it worked.

Same story here - was very hesitant to even try IWB even though it always seemed like a very attractive approach to concealed carry. Finally tried it six years ago and, while I do still sometimes carry OWB, I choose IWB far more often. Even my choice of preferred IWB holster has morphed over time - that’s just part of the process haha.

Is that holster broken in yet? If not it only gets better. I’ve been carrying my Baer 12-16hrs a day in my TT since Feb. prior to that it was my DW Guardian. The reason for the switch; I only have +p defensive ammo left. I barely notice the weight difference.
I’ll be honest it looks new to me or newish.

Having a good holster and belt is a must for comfort. I found that 5Shot IBS works the best for me. Looks like you found a great holster right off the bat.
Yes a belt I’m glad you mentioned it. I bought a brown and black one off of eBay for 70 bucks and they are super nice for the money. Heavy duty belts is how I looked them up.

It’s a whole other problem / new thing / addiction; holsters. Now you have to order a Milt Sparks VM2, SS2 and a criterion. Then 5 shot inside. Then hope and pray @Dangerous Brian sells one of his works of art and that you see it in less than 5 minutes before it sells.

That is a nice holster you bought. You were on that quicker than I was.
