Okay, I know I will never be lucky enough to have the god Chuck Rogers build me a pistol, I really want golf ball treatment on my pistol. Is there any other smith I can have build a full house custom with the golf ball stippling on the front strap and Magwell that would be similar? I don't think Ed Brown will do chainlink 3 on a non ed brown frame but I'm on the hunt for another full rail operator that I want to do a full house custom on. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

You can actually send your frame to Chuck (assuming he's taking any work) and he will golfball the front strap and MS housing, and then have someone else build the gun. The only person I know of that's authorized by Chuck to do golf balls is Steve Morrison of MARS Armament but I don't think he's currently taking work. I sent a Jem frame to Steve a couple years and he did the MARS golf ball treatment, I then had Dave Laubert complete the build.

My god that's a pretty Delta, well hopefully Chuck would be willing to do that. It may not be a full build but id do horrible depraved things to have even that minimal work done by him.

Chuck takes in “batches” of work at times including golfballing.

You might also seriously consider his Tier One sights if he ever does another batch of those...best sighting system I’ve ever used.

I think @Integrity Arms did a collaboration with Chuck where golfballing was done and Steve built the gun.

Check the Integrity Arms picture thread (be warned its 125 pages) or maybe Steve will respond.

Steve is doing a DW A2 for me that Chuck did his golf ball treatment on. Can’t Wait!

I'd like to be able to help but my books are currently closed. If I were to take in another the wait would be in excess of 15 mos. possibly a little less but not much..

Check Chuck’s thread, he periodically posts when he is doing batches of frames and is willing to take in a few more. He did a Colt Combat Commander last year & I had Jim Milks build the rest of the gun, there’s a thread in that build.

Chuck had just posted some pics on FB of Some current Golf ball work so I would guess he is either in to a batch or just finishing a batch up..

Chuck Rogers and Steve Morrison are very good, Chuck do it on a manual vertical milling machine with rotary table, Steve do it on a CNC machine. I do different multiple front strap treatments on a manual vertical milling machine, here are some pictures of our golf ball pattern and honeycomb Texture.

Chuck does batch work from time to time. No amount of begging or pleading will get you a full build. I tried. Sights either, but his books have been closed forever. Can't fault him for that. If you're considering a magwell, get it before you send in your gun. The wrap around on the back of the gun looks great but good luck adding a magwell later. Steve is worth the wait to finish it up IMO. I'm sure he has some sort of a waiting list. Also look at Karl for a similar wait or Jim like Simon suggested if you need it sooner.
