I'm gonna end up with a G43 I just know it. Then I'll start projecting it out to make it something super cool with a stipple grip job and a skeltonized slide, etc.

The first you will want to do is replace the trigger. I don't know what Glock changed on the 43 but it has the most painful trigger out of all the Glocks that I have owned.

if I could only own 3 (since that is a classic scenario), one would be a G19. No regerts. Now I need a Snickers.

I have a g17 that I shoot pretty well but I like my CZ P10c much better.

I’ve been curious about those lately. I have a G17(the quintessential Glock) and wonder if the grass really is greener over there. I like CZ in general. Is it as simple and carefree as a Block?

My P10c has been flawless but some of the early ones had teething problems. It is supposed to be fixed now. The g17 is the only Glock I have or have ever shot. My wife likes it better than I do.

One of the reasons I like Glock is the universal acceptance by humans in general. Parts and accessories are readily available at a moments notice. I get leary of new platforms because of the support issues. Hell, my favorite guns were designed long ago. I need to try one out I guess.

I made a holster and mag carrier today for my newly acquired G19.

I had a 17 and it was good but 9mm wasn’t as much fun as .45 so I traded it for a G30 and it has been my edc since. It shoots great.

I tried to be one of you guys, I really did, got a Vickers G19, went all in, but they are not for me. It's not that I can't shoot them, I can shoot anything, it's just that I don't like to. I can live with the triggers and the blockiness, but it's the grip angle that is a major turn off, they just don't point naturally for me. And, since I'm not forced to carry one by policy or provision, I don't, and I sold the 19 and all of the accoutrements in fairly short order.

That being said, I really do like the tricked out G21 I bought from sparky.0 last fall. The grip reduction work on it makes it point similar to a 1911, it feels good in the hand, the trigger isn't bad, and it runs like a Glock. It's been the dedicated house pistol since I got it and I don't anticipate that changing.

So, while I'm not the Glock fanboy some folks are, and they'll never replace my 1911s and revolvers for carry, I'm not such an old dog that I couldn't learn one new trick.;)
