Hi everybody. Want to share my new, but fairly old, find.

Brenda, who is always super helpful, said that the records show its a 1992 Premier II.

A quick google search leads me to believe it was made in Rock Island, IL location before Les moved his shop to Hillsdale. First year production after Les left SACS - very cool!

If anybody has a LB of a similar vintage, I would enjoy hearing how this one compares to it.

My LW Comanche was built May 95 right after he moved to Hillsdale!

Very cool piece! Congrats on finding that one. My earliest is a '96 Ed Brown Special Forces built on a Baer frame and slide that were produced in April '96. Brown completed the gun that August.

My oldest was built in May, 1995 at Hillsdale. I bought it used as a "CMP legal' hardball pistol. Since it had the older GI style grip safety and someone had played around with the hammer I sent it back to Baer for updating last year. It came back to me as a Premier II equivalent. I'm currently using it as the platform for my Nelson .22 conversion.

An older Hillsdale Commanche went on Gunbroker yesterday. The opening bid was more than I was willing to pay but it was a sweet looking gun.
