This gun was custom ordered from GI and received new by me back in November 2016. I ordered it with the following options:
-M2 .45 cut down to 4.25 inch slide (bull barrel, FLGR, full length dust cover/rail)
-IonBond blackout complete pistol including barrel
-Slide top serrations (Wilson Combat style)
-Flat black rear with red fiber optic front sight
-Fully blended one piece magwell
-Frag Alumagrips
-ambi safety
-medium solid trigger
-4 8-round magazines (these magazines are specific to GI's M2-style .45 and will not work in your other 1911s. They are beefier and a very solid magazine at around $45 a piece, I believe).
Selling this for $3800 with a custom-ordered Adams Holsters OWB full shark coverage holster or $3600 without the holster. The holster fits this gun like a glove and was made specifically for a 4.25" 1911 with full dust cover/rail. Luke Adams does exceptional work and the holster is very, very lightly used (carried like 1 or 2 times). I will cover shipping costs to your FFL 2nd day air. I can accept money order or personal check (certified preferred otherwise I'll have to wait for funds to clear).
The gun did have to go back to GI one time because I was having some feeding issues with it. It has less than 1000 rounds through it and the IonBond finish is the toughest I've come across yet. Since the gun has come back from GI I have fired 100 rounds through it without a problem. From what I understand it was looked over by Alex Zimmerman who did a bit of work on the feed ramp to rectify the feeding issue.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the build.
Trades I am interested in (most likely trade + cash on the buyer's end):
-Agency Arms Glock 19 or 17
-Possibly a Zev 19
-Possibly other optics like Aimpoint T2, Eotech, Trijicon MRO
-Knights Armament SR15 Mod 2 Mlok
-PWS mk1 mod2
-Noveskes, preferably M LOK
-Other nice ARs such as Radian, Rebel Arms, Modern Carbine, etc.
-Quality 300 Blackout pistol build
Thanks for looking.
NOTE: The oily or splotchy look in some of the pics below is from oil and/or me handling the gun. It is not a finish flaw. Geez if GI ever shipped a gun lookin like that I'd be super disappointed!
