This revolver was gifted to me from my brother in law. He remembers his grandfather using it to dispatch hogs on the farm. It is pretty rough, my searching didn't turn up much, I'm thinking it is older than 1945. This is what I know. H & R Arms Company Model 922 .22lr Pull Pin revolver. 9 shot remove cylinder for reload. On the 6" barrel H & R Arms Company Worchester Mass Model 922. It appears to have a gold, thin rounded half moon front sight. Had my wife read the serial number and she came up the same thing I did. Number on front grip strap "C5408". I don't think it is worth much money wise, don't want to sell it just interested in how old it is. Thanks for all your input.
