Try not to warm your hands too long at the campfire of your family's past; enjoy today's blessings as well.

As my Aunt Nancy, used to say, "Be in the now."

    # 475
Preserve at least one orchard as a park within your city limits so you don't pave over your past.

    # 476
Think twice before trying to save your dog from a grizzly.

(William Waddell reportedly lost his arm and died shortly thereafter from wounds he suffered while trying to save his dog from a grizzly in Santa Cruz County in 1875.)

While I understand #476, I don't agree. Then again I don't think this the bulldog is ever going to grizzly country.

Mr. Verbica isn't saying don't, he's saying think. What part of that are you disagreeing upon?

Reason I'm posting this guy's wisdom is they're teaching me how to read again, wasn't attacking you, kinda helped me understand that statement better.
