    Make sure your son knows how to field dress an animal.

    Always be polite to the sheriff, ranger, game warden, banker, butcher and tax collector.

    Make sure your firebreaks are well-maintained.

    # 49 is a great one. When Mom died she had a ton of pictures she had saved. When we went through them none of us "kids" had a clue who they were. And since no one knew who they were no one really wanted any pictures unless they were in them. I kept a bunch of them, not sure why cause I have no idea who they were. Kept them for our daughter, but they won't mean much to her I'm thinking.

    Thanks for posting again scaramouche! Luckily in most cases my mom took care of #49 for my sister and I. Its a great bunch of memories. Keep them all john_anch. At the very least you know they were a part of you in some way. That can’t be bad.
