They seem to work great until they don't.
I've personally seen 2 or 3 in high volume guns (mostly uspsa shooters) were they all of a sudden started causing jambs by slightly opening during the firing cycle. FWIW.
Cavate: I generally like and use a lot of Dawson stuff!

I have one in my TRP with >5k rounds through it, and not a bobble. Definitely not junk, solid and well made. I’d have gone mad messing around with paper clips, and most likely would have a decent idiot scratch...

What size guide rod did you get the 4.15?

I find them to be very useful in my 10MM STI 2011. I have 2 1911 STIs in 10MM with a 25 pounds recoil spring (2011 has the same spring). I have very large strong hands and it is still a chore and god help you if you don't have the paper clip ready....

I believe that STI puts them on all their 2020 models.
