Have grips, now need another 1911!!

    Picked up a set of VZ Operator II grips (solid black) around Christmas. Thought I would put them on something I already own. Nope. Now I have a set of grips in need of a pistol.

    This morning a Dan Wesson Heritage in Bronze/Black (bronze frame with black slide) showed up on Armslist. Low round count, original owner, 2015 production. Less than 100 miles away.

    Must stay strong. Must resist urge to buy.

    I know the feeling, I have a couple holsters that are just itching for new replacement pistols. :cool2:

    I'm so glad I'm not the only one that buys grips, then gets a gun to go underneath them. :p

    Obviously, the gods have conspired for you to buy that DW to go with your new grips. This is how they spend their time instead of fixing poverty, war and disease. Can't say that I blame them!
