    From RedState online ...

Five more names can be added to the list of nobodies who want to take your guns.
The Senate of the State of Hawaii just passed a resolution asking the United States Congress to repeal the Second Amendment or to amend it by clarifying that the right to bear arms is a “collective” right instead of an “individual” constitutional right, as the Supreme Court decided in Heller.

Prior to the Heller decision, some Courts of Appeal upheld state and local gun control laws that created a total ban on the mere possession of firearms on the premise that the Second Amendment did not protect an individual right to keep and bear arms, that it instead protected a state’s right.

In effect, if the right to bear arms is nothing more than a collective right of a state, then the state government gets to decide what it will allow you to be armed with, or if it will allow you to be armed at all.

At least they’re attempting to do this the constitutional way, and they likely will not be successful, but they’re no longer attempting to hide their intentions anymore.

Below are the Hawaii State Senators who want to nullify the Second Amendment (h/t Hawaii Firearms Coalition):

I'm okay with ripping one star off of the flag. Hell, let's rip a couple off.

This country was better when there were only 48 stars. Those Polynesian's can craft their own Constitution. Just don't mess with ours . . .

Some businessmen with a contingent of US Marines took Hawaii the first time. Can't we just give it back?

Official References to ‘Collectivism’ should be considered ‘Acts of Treason’ and a ‘Capital Crime’ with a mandatory ‘Sentence of Death’ to be carried out at dawn the morning following conviction.....

A few facts to consider are the fact that the constitution cannot be altered by any level of government, including congress. Article 5 says the constitution can be changed 2 ways: either by constitutional amendment or constitutional convention.

It's very sad to see people who are so un-American. This is why we need to spread the word of freedom now more than ever friends.
