Visiting Greece for a bit and thought I’d share a few pictures.
very cool, thanks for posting
My mother was born and raised on Crete. I still have family there.
That is where we are currently!
The last picture, with the "Four Lions" water fountain. Do a 180 and sit at "phillosofies" and have a bougatsa (creme filled). Order a double, you'll thank me later
I'm from a small island 3 hours by ferry from Crete, its called Kasos.
Make some time to visit Knosos while in Crete! Its beautiful there. Rent a car and drive out to Xania if you have time. Its a straight shot and you'll drive through some beautiful scenery.
Enjoy your stay!!!
Absolutely beautiful photos. I was fortunate to travel internationally for business through the years, mainly Western Europe, and as much as I would like to visit areas I missed I don’t have the patience to sit on a plane (or flying bus...) anymore. A Mediterranean cruise and/or a river cruise in Europe would be high on my list.
Photos look like something from National Geographic years ago....thanks for sharing.
What a great treat Sniper...Such beauty...
Very cool, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for posting shots of your travels. Fun stuff!
Well definitely hit that in the morning. We’re heading out to dinner at Merastri right now. So far our favorite restaurant in Heraklion has been Peskesi.
All I can say is, you suck
Way cool!!! Thanks for the pics and continue to enjoy your vacation. Hint: a few more pics would be great!!!!
Thanks for the great pictures! Hope you have a safe and memorable trip.

I love it!
Every summer, my favorite uncle would take us there. He was a well known doctor down the road and the 5 minute walk would take 30 minutes from everyone stopping him to talk and shoot the breeze. We would only spend a week or so there a year but every morning we had to go there. Then it was over to Heraklion Chicken for their rotisserie chicken, Thraka for their Gyros or Napoli for their Pizza.
Glad you enjoyed it!!!!
great pics. wonderful place to see. love the food .good for you=trip of a lifetime

Beautiful....my wife's family is from a town outside Sparta...was able to visit about 10 years ago...quite the life...
