I wanted a slip-on shoe for everyday wear and stumbled across these in the Keys last month. THE most comfortable and lightweight show I've ever put on my feet. Both shoes together weigh just over a pound. The uppers are a woven fabric, and the soles are a squishy foam. Insole is removable, and entire shoe is machine washable.

This particular model is the Wally Sox. They run a size small, so I would suggest ordering one size larger than your normal size (as Nike does).

The best way to describe the feel is to say it's almost like wearing a pair of socks, or maybe a pair of bedroom slippers. All of the other brands I tried on feel like bricks compared to these.

There are several different styles and numerous colors offered by these folks, and I plan to order a few more.

I may need to try some of those. They look like nice wearing around the pool/town shoes.

I like light weight shoes, I wear a 13-14 depending on shoe and the less weight the better. I also like slip on shoes, I tie most of my tennis shoes so I can slip them on.

Just a little fun fact. The lightest shoe I’ve ever had was a pair of shiny taffy looking bright red Ultralite Reebok’s I had in the late 80’s early 90’s! Both shoes in size 13 were about 14ozs and I absolutely loved them and have never been able to find another pair!
Still wish I could find another pair to this day! Plus the shiny red was awesome, had a shimmer like taffy when you stretch it.

Dubs, you would love these for messing around the house. Probably not good for the shop since metal pieces are flying everywhere, but a quick trip to the store in your jeans and JAMS shirt would be ideal.

Wear mine out there every time. Just be careful when you have to lay on the deck for any reason. The toe can get scuffed up easily on the concrete/cool deck.

Fortunately for me , and many others on this forum, we don't measure our manhood based on the shoes we prefer. But you do you.

I found some Sketchers that are almost identical in that they are slip-ons, fabric uppers and cushy/thick soles. I wear them in the shop and my feet are loving me for it.

    I'm lucky I found them, considering I need a 13EEEE shoe. :eek1:

Stayed in Largo one night, ate our way to Key West for two nights, and ate our way to Miami for flight back. Marriott in both keys.
