Just finished building a hidden gun shelf last night

Im no carpenter, but it came out pretty decent looking. Think i will line the inside with felt at some point.

Anyone else have any DIY hidden shelves or cabinets to share?

yes, its just a magnetic child safety lock.

i plan to get a little figurine and dremel out the bottom to fit a earth magnet inside to open it.

Looks like somebody has been playing around on pinterest... all of my "hidden gun shelves are just high shelves with the gun pushed out of eyesight. I really would like to build something like this in the near future and buy a bigger safe so I can stop stashing guns everywhere and have cool 007 hidey holes like this. Well done.

im worried about the magnets scratching the finish. When i put some felt or something in the bottom ill drop a 1911 in there. the two in there are just my CCW guns

a marriage wall is two walls put together and are thicker then all the regular interior walls . . usually built around load bearing beams
