I have ordered too many holster for variety of my carry pistols.

I am a person that do not like to sell used stuff once i purchased even tho have never used them so holding bunch of holsters in safe

So far have bought 5 below $100 holster for each firearm from many different vendors.
And using regular belt that i have but seems keep loosing off to the side.

Searched here little bit found southern trapper for holster and milt sparks or big foot is most popular and people are recommended.

So already ordered some southern trapper holsters but haven’t decided with belt yet.

Want you to share pic of your holster and belt set up so i can decide which one looks more comfy to carry.

    Preferred IWB

The rigid stainless steel insert allows me to finally wear a belt all day. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it works well at bridging across your waist & any injuries/scars you might have.

Milt Sparks is worth the wait. Sometimes their online store has the more common models available for immediate delivery.

    For belts:

    - Wilderness Belt (5-stitch): https://www.thewilderness.com/belts/ this belt is infinitely adjustable and the 5-stitch will support anything (I'm LE and wear one on extra duty jobs and it holds up my G17 w/ TLR-1 light and holster, cuffs, spare mag, radio, and OC spray)

    - Crossbreed Holsters leather belt: https://www.crossbreedholsters.com/belts.html the classic gun belt has 7 holes spaced 1" apart to give more adjustment than other belts. It is stiff and when I was in plainclothes would routinely carry a G19 and holster, cuffs, spare mag, radio without any issues or sagging.

For holsters...depends on if you want Kydex or Leather IWB

    - Kydex IWB: Crossbreed Supertuck - https://www.crossbreedholsters.com/holsters/inside-the-waistband-holsters.html one of the most comfortable I've worn (and I've worn ALOT of different makes/models).

    - Kydex IWB: Vedder Lighttuck - https://www.vedderholsters.com/iwb/ this holster is easy on/off and had alot of adjustment (height & cant)

    - Leather IWB: TT Gunleather Slim XC - https://www.ttgunleather.com/product-page/slim-xc this holster is VERY comfortable and lays flat on your hip like the Crossbreed Supertuck. It has more cant than most (25 degrees vs standard 15 degrees) but it helps to conceal very nicely.

    - Leather IWB: PureKustom Leather - https://www.purekustom.com/pure_kustom_holsters_new_black_ops_pro.html the Black Ops pro is very stiff and holds it's shape well. It can be converted to OWB also and has alot of adjustment for height and cant.

These are a few of my "go to" holsters depending on if I'm carrying a Glock or a 1911.....

    Bigfoot or belt man belts.
I also have a cheaper go to blue alpha belts.
    Holsters for kydex jx tactical
    Leather TT gunleather
But trust me there are a lot of good belt and holster makers.
Many of which are listed above and some that haven't been listed.
It's so personnel it's hard to find what works for you by going off what others use.
It's just trial and error until you find what you prefer.
Good luck, enjoy the journey. If you find some that don't work don't be afraid to list them in the classifieds.
We all enjoy trying new holsters periodically. You never know when you might find the next best holster.

Had this set custom made by Frontier Gun Leather in Rancho Mirage, CA. Its John Bianchi's shop he opened after he sold Bianchi and retired. Its the most comfortable setup I have ever worn in 20 years of carrying a gun every day. I have him making me a new set in black and stingray right now. IMG_5461.jpg

I also have a steel core belt from Hanks - $100 on Amazon and it has been the best carry belt I've owned.

Takes a few days to break in but steel core is the way to go!

There are reasons his product is better than steel inserts. I strongly recommend the Buffalo Ultimate product. Runs about $100 and worth every penny.
I also recommend 7 hole with 3/4" spacing along with the roller buckle which minimizes leather marking if you change sizes.

My belt, holster and mag pouch I want to say was right around 300. My set in stingray I added a sheath for my fixed blade and one of the holsters being made is a bit more involved since its for a 1911 with a light I think that whole setup was around 600.
