is the slide just too long (non open ended holster) or is something else interfering on the frame or slide ?

I have some P holsters sitting around to try
it seems the slide is thicker and it impedes the firearm from sliding into the holster. (Note - all holsters I tried were Kydex, leather may have been more forgiving, but I have the bitteroot holster for a CS and it didn’t work either).

The only downside to this light is the runtime. The rechargeable batteries aren't rated for much more than half an hour. We tried it at work the other night compared to our TLR-1HLs, it's just as bright with a better center hot spot and throws just as far. I'm going to stick with the TLR-1HL on my duty gun because I need the runtime. Sometimes we're searching for awhile. I do have a handheld.

Using the installed UNIV-1 key. I might try other keys to see if it fills the slot better. Right now, it's tight and doesn't move so I might just leave it alone.

I bought a 5 Shot Leather SME thinking I was going get a CS, ended up with the new C. The C fits in the holster but I’m not sure it goes in as far as it should be but it’s very close. I was told the holster would fit the C2 or CS but not sure on the C. I’m going to look at my son’s C2 and how far it goes in to the SME holster. I can definitely carry the C in this holster but think one made specifically for the C would be better as there must be some differences In the fit. I think it might be limited where the trigger guard fits in though it is pretty much covered I think that is the limiting factor.

I’ve tried a couple of Kydex holsters that are for a C2 and it won’t go in them. Tried a kydex for an Atlas Nyx, won‘t go in at all and looking at the end of both guns they appear very similar in size But the C must be slightly larger.

Thank you! So in a pinch, a leather holster might fit. Good to know. I'm still waiting for places to offer one with the TLR7HLX. For now, I'll keep carrying IWB with my Tenicor.
Have you looked at Hammer Armament? I have one for my Atlas Nyx and really like it, it's Kydex. I looked at them last night and it looks like they have a holster for the new C with a few light options but can't recall which ones exactly.

I just switched my TLR7HLX to the 1913-2 key and it fits better.

I have a spare TLR1HL and the C with it fits most of my holsters designed for the TLR1 like the Floodlight. I'm just wanting something a little more concealable for OWB. I really don't want to remove the tlr7hlx when switching to owb.

Hammer doesn't really do owb concealment anymore.
Have you looked at Hammer Armament?
Which model is best for OWB concealed carry?

We no longer make dedicated OWB Concealed carry holsters. The Thunder Classic can work if worn with a jacket, but if concealment is a legitimate priority, IWB is king.
