How bad do you want a SA Professional? Apparently this guy didn't want to wait for a factory order and had the funds to do so... $3725 plus shipping and ffl fees:eek:

Just noticed my Pro Operator has the same build date... 11/18/08. Pretty weird unless they release batches on the same day?

A posting on another forum claims that the winning bid was withdrawn and the pistol will be relisted. The pster claimed to be one of the five or six bidding, and had bid himslf at $3100.

I wondering if the winning bid was withdrawn when he (bider) realized that it wasn't one of the rare "FBI" prefixed guns with "Bureau" marked on the slide.

My Pro Op birthday is 06/22/06

That's no different that dudes hitting eBay spending $250+ for a Sparks VM2 that costs $125 (with a 7 month wait). Some people have more disposable income than they do patience.

I'd want the Operator Pro anyway. As nice as the non-rail pro is (very), I dont like the finer rear cocking serrations.

Damn Quack, you gonna smear some 10-8 lube on with that?

    Ok, I'll take it for $3100.00..........then retract.....

Did anyone see the DEA MCOP PRO pic just posted on 1911 Springfield forum? Never knew there was one. Funny, my SACS MCOP will look identical (except for not being a pro)

not sure if it was ordered with Green-T on the frame or it was sent back, but the other "DEA" marked guns were black. They can no longer use them, so maybe we'll be seeing some on the market now.

The "DEA" and "HRT" guns were not to be sold to civilians (at least the initial sale), but i have seen 1 NIB HRT that somehow slipped out to a dealer and a civilian bought it.

well the DEA Agents had to order their own Pro's and they weren't issued, so if they had them in the cue i would think they are still in there.

Thanks for the intel Quack....now I know of another SA to look for on GB, and a legit one at that.

Is there a mall cop version of the Pro available also? :biggrin1:
