Same here bud. Wife and kids are in Fort Worth. I was on back up on call. No calls so now I’m drinking. Soon I won’t be able to see straight. Good times!

Drove down to Louisiana from southern Ohio to visit our daughter and family. Were heading back home Sunday. Very nice to have everyone together this year. There were 10 of us at her house today for Thanksgiving. Tomorrow were going out to cut a tree down and decorate her home. Saturday the girls are going shopping and I am going out with my two son in law's to the range.
Were so proud of our kids very lucky and fortunate to have these times with them.

I should added that 10 were kids under 4.. I gave grace over the food and absconded..
Hahaha!! Now I don't feel so bad!

I sold my house to fund guns and knives from this forum and live under my own highway overpass. So I went to three sets of friend's houses and ate like a king. 10 at the first.....7 at the second....13 at the third. No kids under 16.

Zero.. we left the house 5am headed to L.A. 5 hours of visiting family and turn and burn back home so the kids can work black Friday. 14 hour round trip be home by 1am! brutal but possible...

I setup in the garage and put out chairs for 26 around 8 tables, had the games going on multiple screens. The kids were out riding dirt bikes and cruising the UTVs on the east 40, the wives all had their white claws in hand gathered around the island in the kitchen getting all of the fixins ready. The boys all stood around the oil fryer, beer in hand watching the turkey boil in peanut oil, yelling at the TV every time the ball was dropped.
There was so much extra food after that everyone got a mounded dish on their way out. There was still a ton of food after that ill be eating leftovers for a month.
It was a good day and now its time for bed, aka turkey coma

It was only my soon to be ex-wife and our 2 sons at my house. I work nights now, so I brought some Turkey dinners from Cracker Barrel to my team. It was t the first holiday I’ve missed, but it was my first not speaking to her other than making sure I had the Turkey and taters cooked for them. I’ll worry about sleep tomorrow.
