"Cabot Guns"...I don't know where everyone keeps getting Cabot Arms from. Someone reviewed an ACW a couple weeks ago and called it Alchemy Arms...I'm like WTF? Can't this guy read? It says Alchemy Custom Weaponry right there on the side of the slide. LOL
Penn United originally contract manufactured all of the guns for Cabot. The frames on those guns all say Penn United in the serial number field. Shortly before I started working for them, Cabot purchased a facility here in Fort Wayne to take over manufacturing their own stuff so that they had more flexibility with new designs and tuning. Penn United is still building a few guns to finish up their contract but the people there that do 1911's are all retiring soon so the company wasn't interested in continuing gun building.
Mtec, you are not stupid, you just missed seeing the name on the frame. Stupid people have no idea they are stupid and would certainly not acknowledge that. Just look in our senate and house of representatives for examples.
