It somehow seemed to balance things a little in my world . . . . . .
Tis more blessed to give .... If everyone would just try to do something good once in awhile, we'd be a lot better off.
Great check number for sure.....
I barely caught that.
Love the check #.
When my faith wanes, I just remind myself of the miracles that the Lord has done in my lifetime!
It may sound like I am just nuts, but the Lord has spoken too me. It did scare the crap out of me at the time as it "sounded" like someone was just to the right of me. It caused me to quickly turn to the right and see who it was considering I live alone. What did the Lord say as I sat there pondering my budget spread sheet wondering how to best manage my meager finances? "Take care of people, I will take care of you."
I always seem to make it to the end of the month, food on the table, roof over my head, a job to go too, good friends and the wonderful love of the Lord!
Okay I'm unsure are you giving zero or are you saying you achieved balance due to the check number?
That’s cool. I rarely write checks anymore. The church I attend offers an option to tithe online on their website, so that’s how I do it.
Does this mean you are giving your church a 1911?
Our church has the option of giving using a credit card, but I know that processing fees would come out of the tithe so I just write a check.
Paying tithe when funds are short is a matter of faith.
It’s not how much you give as it is why you give.
God has blessed me and my family.
He has given all!
I could never give enough!
Sounds a lot like some words I got in my right ear exactly 20 years ago this past August. And it's only happened once. I was sitting in church before the service waiting on my young family to come in. I was sitting there by myself worried sick about three interviews I had just had and none of them seemed like the right job, and my straight commission job of nine years had cratered that year.
The words were almost audible to the point I looked to my right as you did.
The words were, "If you will just follow me, everything else will be fine."
It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I have never been a proponent of the "health and wealth" theologies, and I didn't get any of the three offers, however, I stayed in the business and went on to have several very good years.
Whenever I go they make a big fuss over me being there, figure I'm good to go
Good check no.
Zoid, any chance you could clarify the meaning behind your post?
That is clearly a sign of St. JMB looking upon you with favor.
"Let the left hand not know what the right hand is doing when it comes to giving." Matthew 6:3-4
What? Y'all don't give blank checks when you tithe?
Ye of little faith . . .
With this check number as confirmation, I take it as a divine sign when adding to the herd, or is that "hoard?"
I think many of us follow Matthew 6:3-4 when adding a BEC or WMG . . . .
Check number, Matthew 6:3-4, one of those things where all your thoughts run together. Kind of like spilling a big box of Scrabble letters and ending up seeing a poem . . . .
