Love that thing though, definitely a collector and a jaw dropper. Where did they ever come up with that arbitrary and very specific price point though? I'm sure it's blue booked there or something but it reminds me on an endlessly grander scale of getting $12 checks from grandma on my birthday as a kid.

I remember when this first came out through Colt. It seems the price for the tripod mounted unit was right around $50,000. I thought, how cool would it be to show up at a cowboy action match with this bad boy!
