I have used these guys in the past and they have been great. Not the easiest to find location wise, but a good bunch of guys. They charge 35 for a transfer

IL FFL Gun Transfer
Hello all,
Which FFL dealers/shops do you guys use to transfer your guns? I used to have an FFL dealer but he retired. I am by Arlington Heights/Buffalo Grove area.
I checked a few gun stores i.e. Maxon, Gat Guns, Bass Pro, Northshore Guns, etc. but they are charging over $50.
I checked gunbroker.com and I saw a few other FFL dealers charging less. However, I do not know them and hesitant to send them a $2K + guns.
Please let me know and with the gas prices up in the sky, I will take the distance into considerations.

Shakespere guns in Mendota but he is rather far
I'm much farther south, but if I was in your area, I'd use Maxon just to have an excuse to go there. Great place, and the owner is a great guy!

The Range at 355 charges $30 if you are a range member
Should be no less than $25-$30
Can't go wrong with "Check Your Six" in Arlington heights. Sam is a great guy and very easy to do business with. I have transferred more guns there than I care to admit. 😇
