Hello all, I finally caved after looking for years but had to swallow the price which in the end wasn't too bad, it's only money! I have some nice 1911s, 4 Colts, 2 Detonics, an orig. Springfield armory defender, a Sig 9mm and a Les Baer Pll. I skipped the 6 month wait and saved @1k and found this new beauty on GB just the way l would have ordered it myself, thanks to Tyler at Cajun Concealed. So far just from racking it it feels smooth like glass and a little friendlier than the Baer. I guess the proof will be at the range over the weekend but right now I'm glad l pulled the trigger on this one. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Congratulations!

And I'll resist the temptation to remind you of the 4 rules of firearm safety :p

Range followup, thanks everyone for your well wishes. I ran 150 rounds without a hiccup. All 230gr. Sig, Federal and Speer. It likes it all, I kind of favored the Sig. Anyway it shot better than me. @ 18/20 yds. Next time 300 rds. at least. Here's not the best but 7 of 8 on paper. I need practice, no excuse but this was my first range trip in 10 mos..[IMG][IMG]

I really like the adjustable target style rear sight and the front fiber optic combo. I recently purchased a CQB and have a feeling that I will be going to a rear sight like yours.

Thanks for the photos. Gave me a very realistic picture of how the sight package I am wanting will look.

I always liked the Bomar style rear site especially on a non carry piece. I'll tell you, l knew I liked it but after this first range trip and putting it back together from the first clean l can say it's my all time favorite piece.
