I have a chance to get a Colt Huntsman in really nice condition for $350. I know nothing about them. Is that a decent price? I know it's not a Woodsman, but I love the look of it.

I'd buy it at that price, assuming it's not junk

They run for $500-$700 in these here parts. Sometimes more. $350 is a buy to me.

If you are looking for a pistol with fixed sights and made by Colt they make great small game or a backpack pistol. What barrel length? I have both barrel lengths but shoot the 4 1/2" better

    Thanks, all.

This one is whatever the barrel length is in your top picture.

Did you get it? Great price. I have shot them and I even looked at the when I was buying a target 22 years ago. I looked at the SW41, the Colt Woodsman, and the Hammerli 208. I ended up buying the Hammerli 208 as it was just so much more accurate. Later got rid of it because it was too picky on ammo. I now have a Baikal and a Pardini Bullseye. The Woodsman is a great gun and for that price it’s a steal. I never find deals like that :)

The Colt Woodsman is a John Moses Browning design. The huntsman is essentially the same action?

Haven’t bought it yet, but I will. Are magazines easy enough to find for them?

Original Colt magazines are hard to find and expensive when you do. The cheaper alternative to to convert Beretta Neos magazines to work with the Colt. It's a easy conversion, just modifying the plastic Neos magazine base plate to work with the Huntsman bottom magazine release lever. The conversion is covered in depth with a tutorial on rimfirecentral.com. I converted 2 Neos magazines and both have worked flawlessly.
